Pay Per Click Advertising Management

What is Pay Per Click Advertising?

Pay Per Click advertising allows organisations to get to the top of search engines such as Google and Yahoo by bidding an amount on a particular keyword phrase of their choice. The amount they set the bid for and the amount of competition determines where their advert will rank against others. The main advantage over Search Engine Optimisation is that results are practically instant, whereas optimisation is a more long term tactic.

Pay Per Click adverts are above or to the side of normal search engine listings, and therefore do not compete with them in any way.

What are the benefits of Pay Per Click Advertising?

With Pay Per Click advertising, you are in complete control of what you spend. You can either set daily or monthly budgets. Your adverts can be paused and re-run at any time. You can also target geographic areas.

As well as the usual text based adverts, image and video adverts can be used on Google's Content Network. These are other websites that aren't owned by Google but publish their Pay Per Click adverts. You can choose which of these websites you advertise on, i.e. if they are related to your products and/or services.

Because adverts only show for keyword phrases you choose, all clicks you receive are highly targeted. No other form of advertising allows you to be so specific about who you are targeting, making it hugely cost effective and in most cases, very successful!

Stage Two: Account Setup

After deciding which pay per click websites to use (Google, Yahoo etc.) we will create a new account for you. You will have full access to this.

If you have a budget in mind, we will set this for you (it can be adjusted at any time) or set a recommend budget based on how many leads or purchases you are trying to generate.

Stage Three: Advert Setup

Based on the keyword phrases agreed, we will setup Advert Groups for you. By organising keywords by theme, the associated advert will be highly targeted, and consequently, as cost effective as possible.

We will create a variety of adverts and, if necessary, target them to different audiences. Examples of this would be by geographic location and even mobile phone users.

Stage Three: Ongoing Management

Our team will constantly monitor your account to cut any keyword phrases that aren't proving to be cost effective. We can find new phrases, or better direct funds to better performing ones.

We will provide reports on expenditure and keyword phrase performance as a matter of course.

How much does Pay Per Click Advertising cost?

Our Pay Per Click Management fee is £85+VAT per month. This is on top of the budget you set aside for the actual advertising on Pay Per Click websites.

Because we optimise existing accounts, many new clients find they soon save the cost of the Pay Per Click management fee thanks to the tidying up we do. Some clients have previously spent up to 50% of their budget on underperforming keyword phrases!
